{"id":13603,"date":"2016-12-14T07:46:45","date_gmt":"2016-12-14T07:46:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sr-management.bg\/bulgaria-signs-partnership\/"},"modified":"2016-12-14T07:46:45","modified_gmt":"2016-12-14T07:46:45","slug":"bulgaria-signs-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sr-management.bg\/es\/bulgaria-signs-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"Bulgaria Signs EUR 210 M Agreements with EEA Countries"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister\u00a0<strong>Tomislav Donchev<\/strong>\u00a0has signed two MOUs on projects worth EUR 210 M under the European Economic Area (<strong>EEA<\/strong>)&#8217;s financial mechanism for 2014-2020.<\/h5>\n<p>The assistance granted by\u00a0<strong>Iceland<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Liechtenstein<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Norway<\/strong>\u00a0places\u00a0<strong>Bulgaria<\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;among the first of a total of 15 countries&#8221; signing such <strong>partnership documents<\/strong> on their priority projects, the government says.<\/p>\n<p>The programs comprised in the documents &#8220;are complementary to measures under main priority policies for the country that are little or are not at all covered by the scope of [EU] operational programs,&#8221; Donchev is quoted as saying in a cabinet press release.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Through these agreements, we boost cooperation between\u00a0<strong>Norway<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Bulgaria<\/strong>\u00a0to achieve the maximum effect on a number of important policies,&#8221;\u00a0<strong>Tove Bruvik Westberg<\/strong>, Norwegian Ambassador to Romania,\u00a0<strong>Bulgaria<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Norway<\/strong>, has added.<\/p>\n<p>Out of this funding, EUR 115 M will be earmarked for regional development and poverty eradication projects, but also for ones linked to energy efficiently and security, the environment and cultural entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<p>Another EUR 95.1 M &#8211; granted by\u00a0<strong>Norway<\/strong>\u00a0specifically &#8211; will be allocated to projects aimed at business innovation, small and medium enterprises, justice and internal affairs.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, the civil society will be given EUR 15.5 M for monitoring and assessments of policies and the activities of the administration.<\/p>\n<p>Another EUR 0.951 M are to be spent on projects aiding social dialogue and guaranteeing dignified labour conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The first projects can start by the end of next year.<\/strong> T<strong>he deadline for all projects will be April 30, 2024<\/strong>.
