{"id":13611,"date":"2016-12-07T07:37:27","date_gmt":"2016-12-07T07:37:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sr-management.bg\/bulgarias-gpd-grew-third-quarter-2016\/"},"modified":"2016-12-07T07:37:27","modified_gmt":"2016-12-07T07:37:27","slug":"bulgarias-gpd-grew-third-quarter-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sr-management.bg\/he\/bulgarias-gpd-grew-third-quarter-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Bulgaria&#8217;s GDP Grew 3.4% in Q3, 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Year-on-year<strong> growth of Bulgaria&#8217;s\u00a0national output\u00a0was 3.4%<\/strong> in the third quarter of this year, statistics show.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At current prices,\u00a0GDP\u00a0stood at BGN 25.336 B (EUR 12.954 M) for the period between July and September.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quarter-on-quarter, this is a 0.7% increase, the National Statistics Institute (NSI) says in its preliminary data on the economy, released Tuesday.<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>GDP<\/strong><strong>\u00a0per person amounted to BGN 3548 in the third quarter.<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In USD tars at average quarterly exchange rate of BGN 1.75152 per USD 1,\u00a0GDP\u00a0was USD 14.465 B, or USD 2026 per person.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Euro terms, it was EUR 12.954 B or EUR 1815 per person.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gross added value (GVA) at current prices was BGN 21.91 B.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The share of the agricultural sector<\/strong> in the\u00a0GVA\u00a0decreased by 0.7 percentage points to 7.3% compared to the third quarter of 2015, the\u00a0NSI\u00a0said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The industrial sector increased<\/strong> its share by 1.4 percentage points, to 28.9%, compared to the same period of last year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Services&#8217; share went down by 0.7<\/strong> percentage points to 63.8% compared to the third quarter of 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The final consumption expenditure formed 68.8%<\/strong> of\u00a0GDP\u00a0in the third quarter of 2016, while investments (gross fixed capital formation) formed 18.5%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The external balance was positive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the seasonally adjusted data,\u00a0<strong>GDP\u00a0in the third quarter of 2016 increased by 0.7%<\/strong> compared with the previous quarter. In the third quarter of 2016 gross value added of the total economy rose by 0.6%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the preliminary estimates of\u00a0GDP\u00a0by final expenditure, in the third quarter of 2016 compared with the previous quarter the final consumption increases by 0.5%. For the same period, gross fixed capital formation decreases by 0.9%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>In the third quarter of 2016, the exports of goods and services increase is 3.0%<\/strong>. During the same period, imports of goods and services increase by 2.7% over the previous quarter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>On an annual basis,\u00a0GVA\u00a0went down 2.4% compared to the same quarter of 2015.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The biggest increase was in arts, entertainment and recreation and repair of household goods and other services (7.9%)<\/strong>, f<strong>ollowed by information and communication (7.3%), wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles nad motorcycles, transportation, and accommodation (4.9%).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Final consumption grew by 0.2%<\/strong>, <strong>while exports and imports of goods and services were up 9.5% a and 7.5% respectivel<\/strong>y compared to July-September 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Source: <\/strong>\u00a0<strong>http:\/\/www.novinite.com\/<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Year-on-year growth of Bulgaria&#8217;s\u00a0national output\u00a0was 3.4% in the third quarter of this year, statistics show.
