{"id":13538,"date":"2017-04-25T06:03:52","date_gmt":"2017-04-25T06:03:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sr-management.bg\/international-monetary\/"},"modified":"2017-04-25T06:03:52","modified_gmt":"2017-04-25T06:03:52","slug":"international-monetary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sr-management.bg\/nl\/international-monetary\/","title":{"rendered":"International Monetary Fund Increases Expectaions on Bulgarian Economy"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><b>International Monetary Fund<\/b> (IMF) has published a report on global economic perspectives, quoted by BNR.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The document\u2019s authors foresee for Bulgaria a <b>GDP<\/b> <b>growth<\/b> of 2.9% in 2017 and a slowing to 2.7% in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">There is a 0.1% increase on the 2016 autumn IMF report. The capital Daily comments that the improvement is most likely due to a better presentation of the Bulgarian economy in 2016, compared to the Fund\u2019s forecast.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">In early\u00a0 April the financial ministry also reviewed its expectation with a positive trend up by raising its autumn prognosis by 1% envisaging 3% <b>growth<\/b> of GDP.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The IMF foresees that the increasing of prices of goods and services in Bulgaria will continue over 2017 and 2018 as well, revising its inflation expectations up to 1% respectively and 1.8% on an annual base.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">However, the greatest changes can be seen in current bill\u2019s forecast: the fund expects a surplus of 2.3% in 2017.\u00a0 A factor for the positive trend is the bettered Bulgarian export over the second half of 2016 \u2013 both towards the EU and third countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">At the same time the Fund\u2019s forecast on <b>unemployment<\/b> rates remains unchanged: 7.1% in 2017 and 6.9% in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Source:\u00a0http:\/\/www.novinite.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>International Monetary Fund (IMF) has published a report on global economic perspectives, quoted by BNR.
